With over 10 years of browsing online dating sites, I’ve taken the liberty of conducting some research on the top 7 dating apps I would recommend on the App Store. Some or all of these apps are also available on Android devices. Here to do the work so you don’t have to. You don’t even have to leave your home to make a meaningful connection or find a quick hookup. Dating is a part of life if you’re interested in falling in love or having sex. • User-friendliness: The app is easy to use and offers a lot for free. Very straightforward and overall great.
  
• Format: You have 5 tabs to browse through. Tab 1 is for your chats. Here you will see who you matched with at the top. Then your messages are on the left sub-tab, and activity for who viewed your profile on the right sub-tab. The top right of the tap provides a search option to look through your messages. With messaging, you can send audio, make calls, video chat, and send pictures, so you don’t have to leave the app until you are ready. Tab 2 is for connecting with people nearby. You can change preferences and search for just about anyone within the app. Here you can also set your mood, so people know how to approach you. Tab 3 is where you will find the people who like you, so you can check out their profiles and match with them if you’d like. Tab 4 is called encounters; this is where you can swipe to find the right person for you. Here you can also choose from many preferences to find your perfect match for free. Tab 5 is where you find your profile and other settings. You can browse privately and hide your account.
  
  
• User preference: With the user preferences, you have a lot of options for free on this app, such as the normal distance, age, and gender. Then you have access to the advanced filters as well, and you can apply as many as you want to narrow down your search. The only catch here is that you must have a fully completed profile to use all the available filters.

• My personal experience: I was pleasantly surprised with this app as it offers premium features for free. I don’t see the need for the premium plus, but I’m sure it’s useful for some people. So far, I’ve enjoyed my time on the app. I’ve taken advantage of the filters and put them to good use. Making connections is easy because you get to see who likes you, who is nearby, and even who is currently active and online. You can also turn these features off when you’re getting to know someone, and you don’t want to leave people hanging.
  
• Final comments: I recommend this app for anyone looking to date honestly and take advantage of the premium features because it’s rare that a dating app gives these things to its users for free!
